Grandparents are some of the most special people in the world. Mine have been a very important part of my life. I love them so much that I used to fake being sick so I could stay home from school and go to their house. I learned so much from my Grammy - sewing, household remedies and a lot about the Bible. My sister, cousin, and I love to tell stories and laugh about the wonderful times we've had at their house. My grandparents are amazing!
Because of this, it was so important for us to take Jakob to El Paso to see them for the first time. I was so excited, I could hardly stand it. Seeing my grammy and grandpa hold him, was such a special feeling. I know he will love his grandparents as much as I love mine. I just wish they all lived closer so he could stay home from school to be with them!
