I know, like my mom, most of you don't care about pictures unless they include Jakob. However, this is unlike anything I've ever seen in my life. When Jay got home this afternoon, a neighbor lady stopped him. A swarm of bees had been chasing her car down the street and she tracked them to our front yard. The hive is at least 12 inches long and there's no telling how many bees there are. Click on the photo to see that this is SOLID bees. The exterminator will be here at 7 am to spray. They'll be able to tell at that time if they're actually Africanized Honey Bees (killer bees). Rest assured, we're taking extra precautions going in and out of the garage to protect our precious Jakey! Friday, April 06, 2007
