Jakob got a set of musical instruments from Bell and Papa for Christmas. His favorite is the bathtub xylophone. He loves the tub on a normal day, but I really have a hard time getting him out now.

All About Us
Jay and I met on Saturday, September 6th, 2003 at Joe and Ally's wedding in Galveston. Now, five years later, we can't believe how blessed our lives are because of that special day. We are so fortunate to have found one another. We are constantly amazed by the ways God has provided for us. Our greatest blessing is our little Jakob Pierce. Three years ago, neither of us could have predicted how great our lives would be.

Grandpa's 80th Birthday!
This summer Jay and I drove to El Paso to celebrate my grandpa's 80th birthday. Family from all over made the treck to Jack Rabbit for the party of the year. It was very moving to see so many people there to honor him. My grandpa is an amazing man and it makes me so happy for Jakob to share his middle name.

Jakob & Astro
Jay and I worried about bringing Jakob home with a dog in the house. We had no idea how Astro would react. Jay brought one of Jakob's shirts and hats home before we were released from the hospital. From day one, Astro has been ideal. I definately don't need a baby monitor...Astro lets me know anytime Jakob so much as breathes loudly.
