As tradition goes, we had to take my mom to our favorite restaurant: Top Water Grill. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is just as good. My parents don't get good seafood in El Paso so they insist on going here each visit. 
I was so fortunate to be able to take Jakob to El Paso before school started. The plane ride down was a slight challenge. Thankfully, there were few passengers and a friend of mine was the flight attendant. The ride back was even worse! Jakob was at the beginning of what we soon found out was a double ear infection. 
After months of homelessness, we not only have a place of our own, but a beautiful neighborhood pool. Jakob, Ally, Hayden, and I spent the afternoon chillin' in the water. The boys had so much fun and were totally exhausted when we left!
