Grammy & Grandpa

Grandparents are some of the most special people in the world. Mine have been a very important part of my life. I love them so much that I used to fake being sick so I could stay home from school and go to their house. I learned so much from my Grammy - sewing, household remedies and a lot about the Bible. My sister, cousin, and I love to tell stories and laugh about the wonderful times we've had at their house. My grandparents are amazing!

Because of this, it was so important for us to take Jakob to El Paso to see them for the first time. I was so excited, I could hardly stand it. Seeing my grammy and grandpa hold him, was such a special feeling. I know he will love his grandparents as much as I love mine. I just wish they all lived closer so he could stay home from school to be with them!

My sister and I have always been so close. It's very difficult for us to live so far apart. We'd give anything to spend more time with each other. The time we do share is so precious.
I have enjoyed every moment with her little boy Jaxson. He is such a wonderful little fellow and extra special nephew. I melt when he says, "Hi, Honey!" I can't wait for Jakob and his Tia to have the same relationship.

Baby Jakob!

Jay, Jakob, and I made the 11 hour drive to El Paso for spring break. It was Jakey's first road trip and he was a real champ! The ride home was rough, but that's a long story that involves state troopers and severe weather. We'll save that story for another time!

Jaxson loved his cousin Baby Jakob. He wanted to hug him, kiss him, and hold him constantly. He is so good with babies, we're just working on the concept of soft!

5 Months Old!

Our big boy is five months old! He was hilarious tonight rolling all over the living room floor. He rolls on his stomach and then gets really mad because he can't go the other way. He got all tanlged up in his blanket and couldn't find his way out. He kept shaking his head like a puppy dog trying to get the blanket off. He definately keeps us entertained!
