Happy Family!

Jay, Jakey, and I had the privelege of visiting Matt, Caryn, David, Skyler, and our new cousin Sammy. Because of colds and stomach bugs, we haven't been able to see Sammy until today. We hate that it took us this long, but he was definately worth the wait. To satisfy my mother's many requests, here is another picture of me in front of the camera. (Thanks, Caryn, for the great pic.) She recently told me, "I don't care what the granite for your house looks like unless you or Jakey are in the picture." I guess I understand...I only think pictures of Jakob are worth looking at!!

Giddy Up!

Tonight was our nightly adventure at Casa Ole'. It's hard to believe a little girl from El Paso could actually love chain Mexican food, but it's true. Jay and I have to eat once a week at the C.O. or we suffer from withdrawls. The staff knows us and the girls love to ooh and aaw over Jakob and Hayden. Tonight Jakob was especially handsmone in his cowboy outfit with matching cowboy blanket. One side of the blanket is the same as his onsie and the side showing is fuzzy with the same cowboy aplique as his jeans. He's such a stud!

Jakob changes so much daily. He started eating carrots on Saturday and he loves them! He has a teething ring that we can't live without and he loves lying on the floor to play. Everyday is something new.

My parents say that you pay for your raising. This is definately true for Jakob and me. He has been cooing, gurgling, and laughing for several weeks now. It's absolutely adorable during the day, but last night he kept us up from 3-5am. He wasn't crying or cranky, he just talked non-stop! Like mother, like Jakey!
