Texas Snow

After opening all of the presents, we decided to put the boys into a box of packing peanuts. They went crazy over it and had a blast. We were calling it Texas snow. When you live in Houston, you gotta take whatever kind of snow you can get.

I love it when Jakob claps. I think it's absolutely adorable. Now if I could just get it on video! You know me, I stalk the poor kid with a camera in hand. Just give it some time, he'll be clappin' on youtube before you know it!

Stand back! Jakob has discovered Rice Krispies Treats! Here he is on Christmas morning enjoying one. We've gotten smart and take them to restaurants to appease our wild man.

Chillin' with Grandddaddy

Jakey is so lucky to have two sets of grandparents ready to babysit whenever the occasion arrises. My mom watched Jake so we could go to Nashville for Jay's birthday, and his parents did the same while we were in Savannah celebrating my birthday. Jakob loves his granddaddy. They worked in the yard and watched TV at night in the big leather chair. Grandparents are the world's perfect people.
