Kaleb got this adorable outfit from one of Jay's co-workers. He's so snuggly soft in it! I know he's going to be one of Daddy's All Stars one day, right along side his big brother.

Dad's Team

I am amazed at how quickly Kaleb is growing. He fill out his 3 month clothes and I fear he's going to be wearing 6 months before too long. Nance bought him this outfit and I pulled it out on a whim. I never imagined it would fit him. Boy, was I wrong! I can't wait to see how much much he's grown at his 2 month check up next week!

Jakob and Sammy

Playing with Cousin Sammy

Today we went for a play date with our cousin Sammy. Jakob and Sammy had so much fun together playing basketball, with chalk, and watching Sesame Street. I enjoyed visiting with Caryn. As much fun as it is to stay home, a little adult interaction is very nice! There were too many cute pictures to just post one. By the time we left, both boys were covered in chalk. I Just Called to Say I Love You

My mom bought Jakob this adorable flat, rubber piano. It is so much fun. I don't know who likes it more...Jakob or his Mommy and Daddy. I find myself sitting around plinking out all of the Barney songs I know. I can't believe I just admitted to that! Anyway~tonight Jakob was doing his best Billy Joel/Stevie Wonder impersonation. Big Boy Swinging

I love the little park in our neighborhood because Jakob can slide and swing without any problems or fears. He has recently discovered that he not only loves to slide but that he loves to swing too. I'm so excited because the previous trips to the park were not as enjoyable for him. Tonight we had such a good time, but unfortunately it was a little too cold and windy for Mommy and Baby Brother. Jakob's Clone

Each time I look down at Kaleb's face, I try to figure out who he looks like. Is it Jay? Is it me? Is it Jakob? You be the judge. The picture on the left was taken today of Kaleb. The other picture was taken of Jakob on December 17th (11 Weeks). They're both wearing the same onesie and sitting in the same chair. Like I said, you be the judge!

I Hold Baby Brother!

Everyone keeps asking me if Jakob has held Kaleb. Instead of opening that can of worms, I've been waiting for Jakob to ask. Today he did. He was so excited and it was so adorable! I put him in the corner of the couch and placed Kaleb in his arms. He was so gentle and loving. Everyday, I'm so amazed at what a great brother Jakob is!

Bye! Bye, Mai!

After two very helpful weeks, Nance is on her way back to Georgia. I'm a little nervous about being at home with the boys without any help. Jakob has been testing the waters and Kaleb is still so little. It's hard juggling the needs of both boys. Having our moms here for the first month has been wonderful. This weekend Larry was here as well. He and Jay worked on Jakey's big boy room. I can't wait to get it finished and Jakob is just as excited as well.

One Month Old

I can't believe how quickly Kaleb is growing. He eats non-stop and is our little chunk. We are having so much fun and Jakob continues to be an amazing big brother.

Buddy Jack

I could really get used to staying home and playing with the boys. Today our buddy, Jack, came over for a play date. Jakob and Jack played so well together and had so much fun outside. Jack fell a couple of times and once I picked him up. In an attempt to get his mother's attention, Jakob threw himself down on the ground and mustered up the worst fake cry. It was quite hysterical. I picked him up, kissed his boo boo, and he was fine. Once I set him down, he did the whole thing over again. He's too smart for me!

I kiss Baby Brother!

Jakob loves his baby brother! He is always right by his side ready to kiss him or "pet him". The funniest thing happened right after this picture was taken. He was pretending to be a puppy and would not stop LICKING Kaleb's head! He would bark and then say, "I lick!" As the mother of two boys I guess I just have to get used to crazy phrases coming out of my mouth such as, "JAKOB PIERCE! STOP LICKING YOUR BROTHER!"

The Ocean

Jakob, Kaleb, and I took Bell and Papa to Galveston for a day of fun. We enjoyed some seafood and a ride on the ferry to Crystal Beach. Kaleb slept through the day, waking only for feedings. Jakob, on the other hand, had the time of his life. He and Papa walked along the seawall watching birds and looking for fish. He loved the ferry ride but got quite irritated when the birds came too close. Check out www.youtube.com for his latest video.

Sunset Tan

After coming home from the hospital, Kaleb began to show signs of jaundice. Each day we put him in his bouncy seat in the sunlight wearing only his diaper. I was worried he wouldn't like it since he DOES NOT like to be cold. I was totally wrong. He absolutely loved it. We would joke that he was being pampered at the tanning salon. Regardless, I love this picture and think he's absolutely adorable!

My mom and dad arrived today to help me at home for the next two weeks. Tonight we exchanged Christmas gifts. Bell & Papa brought Jakob his own baby to take care of. The baby came with his own bottle, diaper, and blankie (or "We" as Jakey calls it). It is adorable to watch him take care of his baby. He immediately wanted to wrap him up and feed him his bottle.

The Biddy Bunch

Jay and I are so blessed to have two adorable and healthy boys. Jakob Pierce and Kaleb Matthew have made our lives complete. The night Kaleb was born, Jakob didn't quite know what to think. He did not like his mommy having an IV, laying in a hospital bed. However, the next night he was back to himself and right in the thick of things. We can already tell he's going to be a great big brother!

Welcome to the World!

We're so happy to announce that Kaleb Matthew Biddy was born on January 7th, 2009 at 7:50 pm. He weighed 7lbs 150z and was 19 1/2 inches long. He is such an adorable baby boy. When he was first born, we thought he looked just like his big brother. But each day he changes and becomes more of his own little person. Thanks to everyone who called, visited, emailed, and sent cards. We appreciate and love you all!

Happy Thanksgiving

I'm sad to say I was a total slacker on Thanksgiving. I did not take a single picture! Can you believe it? Well, it's true. However, last night I took Christmas pictures of the Biddy Grandchildren with Larry and Nance. I absolutely LOVE this picture of Jakob sitting in Mai's lap. Taking pictures with three children ages 2 and under is quite an under taking, (not to mention two teenage girls) but they did turn out adorable!
